hey.. personally i would NEVER have a collar on... i know.. they are cute and there are like NO cute harnesses... but i've heard too many horror stories about Yorkies accidentily hanging themselves on their collar.. and since they have such delicate tracheas.. i'd just say never.. Layla only wears a harness when she is going out because i find if she wears it all day the hair under the harness doenstn' grow. hope that helped
