Xrays are an excellent tool, done at the proper time. IMO all bitches should be xrayed at about 57, 58 days.
If we see 4 pups, then I do not go to bed until 4 pups are born and so on..when it is 3 AM, the game of guessing if the bitch is empty, gets old, fast...
If you take your bitch to the vet in a carrier, ask for the tables to be wiped down properly, then the risk of contracting anything is nil....
