We're actually from Oklahoma. Right now we're in Kansas in college. We usually just have to in the summer/late spring months... Or like now when it's ridiculously hot when it shouldn't be! We have cattle too and you can tell when it starts getting bad fast! Usually in the winter they go underground. We've had ridiculous weather here lately. We've had animals for as long as I can remember (and mom and dad has lived here their whole lives) and even dad said he can't remember the last time that ticks were out like this. Matter of fact my gramma who is 84 said the same thing.
and... gosh every month! Thats crazy! and EXPENSIVE!
