No need to apologize. Yeah, it was a bit confusing.
I wonder if YIN has found a home yet?
Yo/Cash has been such a great addition to our family. He struts alongside Tahoe whereever they go - whether it's following me to the bathroom or into the back yard.
At the risk of jinxing myself, Yo/Cash seems to be on the quick road to potty training. He has found his spots in the yard to pee and poop and goes right to them when we go out in the yard. He was crated for the first week (from 8-11:30AM and again from 12:30PM - 5). After Day 2 he was not pooping in the crate and seemed to be a quick study. (Once I know he's fully trained, he will have open access to his crate, but will not be confined during the day or night.) I allowed him and Tahoe to stay in the living room (as opposed to the crate) on Saturday when I ran to the grocery store and came back to no poop or pee and as soon as I walked in, I walked them straight to the back door and out in the yard he went and did his duty. Very smart.
Johnny Cash had his vaccination this morning and took it like a trooper and slept the whole way home.
He absolutely LOVES my cats and loves to play with them more than he likes to play with Tahoe! The cats love him back equally and are always kissing him (sniffing noses).
All around, great little guy. Very affectionate. Barks at the cats (when playing) and when he's baby gated apart from me, but doesn't "chime in" with the neighborhood dogs when they bark, which is nice.
He seems to be following Tahoe's lead very well and is adjusting very nicely.
