Default Missing Link OR Solid Gold Seameal

I went to the pet store this weekend to get some supplements for Sparky, since I've decided to try and cook for him. They did not have any of the Missing Link, but they had something the associate said was better. It's called Solid Gold Sea Meal Mineral and Vitamin Supplement. It says it's for all classes of horses, dogs and cats. Has anyone heard of this and is it the best for my furbaby? And it's granular and the directions say to "mix with 1/4 " warm water in the bottom of the feed bowl. Stir to disperse evenly. Feed the following amounts twice a day mixed with the morning and evening feedings." For Sparky's weight "up to 10 lbs use 1/8 tsp."
I mixed it with his yogurt and he turned his nose up at it and now he won't even eat yogurt. Is Missing Link mixed the same way.......with water into their food? Has anyone had problems getting this or any other supplement into their "brat?" I didn't have this much trouble with my two children.....
