Yes, everyone did have to start somewhere and it sounds like everyone in your circle has the best intentions only with your dogs and it is great that you still see them at trials. If that were always the case--people with only the most noble of interests--then there wouldn't be a problem. But IMO, it is unwise to just hand over a dog to someone you know nothing about just because they are willing to pay for it. One bad breeder getting one and ruining your name with what they use it to produce...
