Maddie is exactly like this! She ALWAYS has her ball with her. She will drop it by our feet and stare at it. Then she look up at us, then back at the ball, then up at us...until we give in and throw it. She would play fetch all day if I let her. The only time we've taken her ball is when we are trying to eat and she won't give us a minute peace. But other than that, I just let her have it. I feel that since it makes her so happy, I just can't take it from her. I don't worry about her getting too worn out. She always has water available and will drink when she gets too hot. The only time I will make her take a break is if we are playing outside and it is really hot out.
She brings her ball to bed and will roll on her back next to it. Sometimes she pounces on it and bats it around with her paw like a cat. She's a crazy little dog.
