I have tried the water spray bottle- Starsky likes it
I have tried bitter apple spray- Starsky licks it off
I have tried a tap on the nose- Starsky snapps back rebelling
I have bark, growled, cried- Starsky continues to bite
I have ignored him- Starsky just runs away like he doesn't care.
The only thing that sometimes works... Is when I tell him to sit or do a command and he does it, I say "yes" kind of in a high pitch. So when he bites I command him to do "kisses" and when he does I say "yes!" and he will continue to kiss me. It all depends on how hyper he is!
So if you have any other suggestions that I haven't tried, let me know. He is 4 and a half months and I keep hoping he will grow out of this soon! |
