Look at the bag and see how much it says he's supposed to eat. In the morning, measure out "X" amount of food (whatever the bag says) and then make sure he eats all of it within 24 hrs. That way you know he's eating enough. Remember, how much you feed also varies slighly from dog to dog depending on energy levels.
