I've never had either one. I did have a salesman come and demonstrate the Kirby and it was wonderful. I just told him I couldn't afford one and he said that he wasn't suppose to tell me, but that is just what the company would like to get out of them that you can talk them down to half price. I still didn't buy it though. I'm really wanting one of the Dyson.
