i have the gold pin brush and i can say im not really impressed with it on morgan's coat. i don't feel like it gets down to the root of the hair to get knots out. Morgan has a soft cottony coat and not the typical silk coat so that's probably why it doesn't work as well. Her hair is also 2 1/2 inches long at this point.
i have better luck with a flea comb and a comb with slightly wider teeth.
