Default I'm new here,

For me finding this site is like winning the lottery. It is a great site, with plenty of helpful info.
I have never had a Yorkie before, and just got one a few months ago. He was 12 weeks old when I bought him home. I fell in LOVE. He is now 4 months old, has all his shots, and the vet gave him a clean bill of health last week. We are attending the Petsmart puppy classes and they are a big help.
Since I have lurked here, since day one with him. He is now crate trained, and it is very seldom he has a accident inside. I don't work, and have all day to work with him. So I put him on a scheldule and watch for signs. (potty). After reading on here about using the bells (he sits at the kitchen door when he has to go out)..I ordered the bells I read about on here........after a little over a week, he rang the bells for the first time to go out yesterday

My son and his wife fell in love with Gordon , so they purchased one of his sisters(Kasey).....since they both work, I am helping out with her potty training and some of the commands.

Since I read on here that it isn't good to use collars on Yorkies , I have made Kasey several halter dresses and Gordon the cloth halters. I love to sew and they were so easy.

Thanks for all the info on this site.......I have never read a site that is so helpful and friendly.

I came out of lurking mode......to say thanks, I have gotten plenty of info to make sure I am taking the best of care of Gordon , that I can.
