that is funny ..I had basically the same thing happen.
I occasionally will bake or cook something and share with a neighbor or two. I also do the same with dog treats. one day I took some dog biscuits and took them to the neighbor in a plastic baggie. her husband comes from another room and didn't hear me say they were for the dog.... she said if he don't know what the bone shape refers to let him have them!
