I bet you are going to love the barettes. I don't do bows because the hubby is like your BF. It took showing him many boys on here that wear lovely bows and barrettes to finally realize that it was okay
He is fine with bands and barrettes but the red bows still freak him out........lol
He got over it and now understands that is unique to the breed
