I'm glad he did well. I've worked in a vet's office as a tech, and we always shave. I figure it's much better to shave the leg than to have to poke the poor baby a bunch of times because it's hard to find the vein. Much easier to have a nice clean leg too, don't want an infection! It'll grow back pretty quickly.
