I just got my first Yorkie, and am very HAPPY!!!

What I didn't know, was that potty training was going to be so hard!!!! I don,t mind, he is worth every bit that it will take to get him there. My question is Why is it so hard, & WHY does it take so long? They are very smart, & willing to please. Also, what about the nipping? Does that go away too?
