My female Boots will be 18months old when she has her third heat in june, and even then I think that she is not going to be mentally prepared to be a mum. She is still very puppy like in her behavior. So i would need even consider breeding her. I think you should wait and as others have said do a lot of research, the more info you have the better for you mum and babies when the right time comes.
