Good morning thread and any-everyone!
Tink and Sasha (Peekinese) had their play date yesterday. It was really a play date for Tink and Sparky (the Chihuahua) and Mom (a HUGE black lab) and Son (Mom's son, another HUGE black lab). Sasha was so scared she hid the whole evening.
After inside dog intros, we went outside to meet the Labs and Sparky. (Sasha went to her crate). Tink played to hard she wore out the chihuahua and even the mom lab (5 yrs old) went in her pen. Tink was made out of bed springs I swear! She wouldn't stop running.
Run run run run run run pant pant run run run jump jump run run run run pant pant run run run run jump jump run run run run run! Carol and her husband couldn't believe that she never stopped to rest for a second. I didn't get pics but Carol tried to take some so if she sends them to me, I'll post some.
Carol's house is huge and has wood laminate flooring. Tink thought she'd found heaven. My apartment is so small and carpeted. She ran and slid across the floor the whole time we were in the house. She was just crazy!!! Carol's husband strongly suggested I take her to a dog park for a run at least once a week.
I didn't know that they breed black labs, so he had some good info for me.
Well, guests are coming this afternoon a for dress fitting and I need to dust and vacuum and run to the store for bully stix. Maybe I can post some late tonight - we'll see.
