Is Nyla four and a half months or years old? Just like people, yorkies come in all sizes. Two small parents could have a large offspring or vice versa. As far as ears go, it seems like the larger yorkies have a harder time getting theirs to stand but you can't always know. Have you tried shaving the excess hair off Nyla's ears? Sometimes removing that extra weight makes them pop right up.

I was told by my breeder to free feed Debbie and she's done very well with that. I don't know how much she eats as she always has some dry food in her bowl.

"Nyla is a great eater, always licks her bowl clean, and is extremely energetic."

Your yorkies both sound just fine to me and I think you're concerned over nothing.
