Dexter doesn't do well on short car rides or long car rides. He barks/yelps/whines the whole time. It's rough for everyone. He will also puke too if we take a long ride somewhere. Since he's older and a rescue, we have no idea what happened in his past that might have turned him off about cars, but he really gets nervous and nothing we've tried helps him snap out of it...
The evacuation last year was HORRIBLE for us. Just try to imagine 8 hours of that........................oh.................my. ..............god.
