These are PERFECT for summer & since you're in Texas worth looking into....they're super lightweight and made out of the coolest material...they just slide right on and so far no tangles and with yorkies that's a GOOD thing. The girls really had fun running around in them today and I didn't worry about them getting too hot - I can't believe we're at almost 80 already
