I hate to jump that gun or jinks it BUT.... I got to pick Sophie up from the hospital last night. When i got there I got a puppy a had not seen AT ALL, wiggly worm, moving all around, big bright eyes just a lookin around. I was so excited. I told her she hasnt been that way at all since i got her. Anyways, they treated (still are) her Cocidiosis, ran the bile acid test to check for liver shunt and monitored her. They were unable to get the iv set since her veins are so small but they did get her to eat & drink so that was ok with me.

So.... I am obviously no vet but I am going to guess she has/had the cocidiosis since the only thing they gave her was the med for it and she is already a different pup. I am impatiently awaiting the results of the bile acid test though and will let you know when I hear.
