Thank you so much for the well wishes. Izzy aka "Elvis" is doing fine.
He's in a little bit of pain. The vet gave me some meds but I cant give it to him until tomorrow morning. I got home around 6:30 and we hung out on the couch most of the evening then went to sleep. Of course it is very hard keeping him still. When I had to get up and do anything, I put him in his crate so that he wouldnt move too much. He just woke up..which is why Im on the computer at 2am! Thank God I took the day off tomorrow
The one thing that is annoying him is the band they put around his front paw where the IV went in. I cant remove it until tomorrow. He's been trying to bite it off.
I think that is what is keeping him up. I just fed him...his appetite has not changed!
I was going to keep him at the vet overnight but they do not have overnight care...which was very strange to me. They leave the dogs/cats there overnight and come back in the morning....hmmmm.
So I decided to pick him up today.
Anyway, I think he will be fine. Thanks again for thinking of me, I will update you tomorrow on his progress...uh I mean later today.
