I had Cali who was 18 months old in January and Maya my 10 year old pom and had been looking for an older puppy for awhile when I found Pixie from Stardust Yorkies. She was 13 months okd and 3 lbs and a silky coat exactly what I was looking for. I am so happy with her. She wasn't housebroken but within 2 weeks she was using the pads consistantly. She fit in and adjusted immediatley. She was in the playpen at night for a total of 2 nights and then ended in my bed on the 3rd night and that's where she remains. I like getting the older one because I didn't want to go thru all the puppy stages although cute it is a lot of work, no chewing , she was spayed and dental done and I knew exactly what I was getting. I will probably do the same for my next one. Getting too old for puppy stages!!!lol Just call Breeders who are showing and you will usually find one that kept a dog for showing or breeding that didn't work out for showing.
