That's a good sign then...you can rule out it being from and empty stomach. If she has been examined by your vet and he says everything is as it should be, then it more than likely is. Just make sure she has plenty of water so that she is not becoming dehydrated. And make sure that she and the pups are in a quiet area--stress can cause them to have upset tummies. Upset stomachs after whelping can last for several days...think of the stress they have been through and eating the placentas YUCK which can cause digestive upset.

BTW, congrats on the babies!
