It did not bother him-we did not do his face & we kept it away from his skin, we left his original color as his roots. I would never do something that would harm him!!!!! We didn't follow the directions since they wanted you to bleach the hair first & then put on dye & leave under a plastic bag. She put it on his topknot first & then decided he needed it on his skirt- well that looked stupid -so she put it all over him & I freaked out because it was so blue!!! We immediately washed it off & he was pretty blue. it is the same stuff you see the kids putting on the bottom of their hair when they color it red, pink, blue etc. It was from Walgreen's & it did not come off on our clothes or furniture.
