Default Update on Chili

Well, I took Chili to Granbury animal hospital. My appt was at 9 and at 10 we were in the exam room waiting for the doctor when I noticed I was sitting in a crap load of some other pet?s hair. Really ticked me off since that was one of my complaints about the last vet and I told them that over the phone. They were a pretty big outfit with a really nice facility, but I had a concern with some of the cleanliness. I thought that maybe I was freaking out a bit or being irrational. Needless to say we left and went to another vet here in Granbury. My friend had been seeing Dr. Sawyer (vet#1 where all this started) and she was having similar problems with her s**tzu. She switched to Dr. Finley Tuesday and called me Wednesday with a good report, so after that happened at vet #2 we left and called Dr. Finley. I really loved her and the clinic was great, I like the way they treated Chili and they did x-rays etc., and he has a swollen tummy lining (most likely irritated from his vomiting), Gastritis, and a repertory infection that he more than likely caught at Vet#1's office that day of his shots. His gastritis is probably because he has not been eating and I have changed up his diet so much that has caused this gas to flare up, but it is also a symptom with the repertory infection which is going around in dogs and my vet #3 had seen a lot of cases of it. So, he's doing well and we got some antibiotics, some pepcid and I just have to tend to him allot because he does not always eat or drink on his own. I have to make sure he has so much or not too much and so forth. Yesterday was his 1st day of no vomiting and I think he sneezed 1 maybe 2 times. He is playing like his old self and back to my puppy that is so full of life and into all kinds of puppy trouble. I think I love and appreciate those moments now! Thanks to all who gave me great advise and thoughts and prayers. This web-site is my little life saver for my little guy!
