some people just dont have the same 'connection' with animals as we all do.
its a wonderful thing, to be able to feel that way about an animal, fortunatley i have been able to extend my connection futher to thoes ugly animals we call meat...
people honestly dont see the animals as having a brain, emotions, wants and needs, they see them as there for their pleasure, which should go and hide somewhere when its not wanted....
i dnt think we can change the way people thing, but just try to educate them of the responsabilites before they get a pet.
any parent getting a pet for a child, and expecting them to do everything is nieve. there children, teenagers and they get bored easily!
p.s not bashing teenagers i am one! lol 19 and i too moved out at 16, grew up first and love being indipendant!
