Ok... I just got back from taking Sophie to the vet. After a day of Majo Major laziness (all she would do is sleep), not eating or drinking a THING (just nutri-cal and 3-4 fingers of her a/d) and developing diaherea (sp?) I decided it was time.
I took her in and they are keeping her overnight running fluids and a med incase she has cocsidiosis (sp?) and they are running a bile acid test to check for the liver shunt. It broke my heart to hand her over and I was just crying (I even made the vet tech cry). But I know it is for the best and the only way I will ever get her going. Wether it is the hypo or shunt it has to be figured out. When I got her her papers said 1.6 (saturday) tonight she weighed in at 1.3, 3 ozs in 3.5 days. NOT GOOD.
