well, you've taught him to play with you and walk, etc. You will teach him to cuddle with you too. Start with settling him down for quiet, gentle time when he seems tired. When he's done - let him down. Don't push the sleeping with you until he's ready to spend the night so he doesn't start to respond negatively to your attempts. My Molly has a "freak out" time right before bedtime. She plays wildly with her toys, then she's ready to crash. That's a good time for cuddling.
Yorkies love quiet cuddling as much as wild play, they just have to used to it. Many are ready for a nap after eating too. That's a good time for lap time. Molly often got treats for sitting on my lap. I'm in a wheelchair and when I say "Come" she comes to my foot platform, and when I say "up" she stands on the platform so I can pick her up and then she gets her treat. We often nap together in my chair!
I wanted a little dog to snuggle with me too. I just didn't realize you teach them to enjoy that too!
