Thanks for the response.

Yes, I have tried to block him in the kitchen area. However, he didn't stop crying when we did so everytime. We feel very bad about that because most of the daytime we have to leave himself alone at home (both of us have to go to work). Whenever Sparky sees us coming back home from work, he is SO SO happy, and follows us everywhere in the house. It's hard for us to block him in a small area for a long time as he cries a lot.

Any other tips without blocking him to a small area??? Thanks!
