 Inbreeding vs Linebreeding
I would like some more information about the difference in the 2. I once went to look at some puppies that were produce by half cousins. Meaning both the parents shared the same grandpa.
Maybe it was my human instinct that could not get pass the idea of cousins creating babies.
But after some research many breeders do linebreeding to correct a fault or continue the line.
But what are the pros and cons of linebreeding? And what differs it from inbreeding? Would it affect them from reproducing to their full extent? Or would that lessen the numbers of puppies per litter?
I just have so any question regarding this subject. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
