Actually, the surgeon saw her today. He felt of her and said that he thinks he can complete the surgery fairly easily and that it shouldn't be too bad. I don't know anything about recovery yet though. But he thinks it's not too late for surgery and he's certain he can do it successfully.

As far as recovery, once she recovers one leg, then we have to do the other... yikes. It's going to be a rough few months I think.
