Ginny Merry, DO NOT use Hartz. Just google it, and you will find entire sites devoted to horror stories involving their flea/tick products. I even had an experience with my cat, but luckily, it was detected before it was fatal.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't read the entire thread, just to the response where someone mentioned using Hartz. I didn't see where you had responded and said you wouldn't use it.
