I am sorry to hear that free ads are considered a good thing. That only means more puppies/dogs can end up in situations where they might be neglected or in danger. Of course, everyone is entitled to do what they want with their animals. I have no idea who s selling or who is buying them, but as a general rule there is no pre-placement checks and NO follow up..
If I sound like snob, sorry. I help place toy dogs that can no longer be kept by the owner but thw owner and the new owner do the dealings. I act as a third party and do the initial interview. It has worked out well, so far. I insist there be a charge for the dog but I do my part FREE!
