Maybe you can try a little discipline but only discipline when she deserves it. It's difficult for me to walk Maxi around my neigborhood because she barks at all the other dogs and jumps on them. I have been trying to teach her not to do that, like shooting her with a watergun everytime she ignores my 'No Barking' s. Oh well practice makes perfect.
