Default Gas problems

My little baby has refused to eat in the morning. Everything was fine yesterday and she does not seem lethargic or sick today at all. Her stool yesterday was fine, nice and firm, sorry for the details. She also had no vomiting or anything like that.

Her tummy, however, feels a little firm to me and I hear loud growls coming out of it. So, I assumed she has gas.

To alleviate her discomfort, I decided to get "Gripe Water" for babies. It's an organic, natural remedy given to newborns mostly in Europe but it is getting a wider appeal here as well. There is no chemicals and no artificial flavors inside. It's safe to give to even the youngest of babies. So, I assumed it is not going to be bad for sure.

I was just wondering if anybody else tried Gripe Water or infant gas drops on their fur babies and if it helped with gas.

Additional question, I feed her Artemis dry kibble for small breed puppies and I mix in Artemis canned beef wood for all stages. I am not concerned about the quality of the brand since I haven't had problems with it before. What I do feel could have caused the gas is my storing the canned food in the can for longer than I was supposed to.

I had no experience using canned food before. My dogs used to only eat dry kibble. This one has been accustomed to eating wet food. So, she refused to eat dry food at all. However, once I switched to Artemis, she started eating it but only if it is mixed with wet wood.

I only used a tiny amount of wet food, just to fool her with the smell of it. I mostly wanted her to eat dry food. So, one can could have lasted me a long time.

I have the question for those of you who use canned food. How long do you store it in the refrigerator for. Also, do you store it in the can or do you transfer it to plastic container or bag?

Thank you in advance.
