IMO.......you should get him Neutered if you do not intend on Breeding him?
No offense but "Marking Territory" in your "House"? I would not allow it, not only for the obvious reasons but that is also a sign of a "Power Struggle" between the 2 of you. At 18 months he's "Dominated" your House by Marking. I have had up to 5 Yorkies @ one time; 2 males and 3 females, now I have 1 male and 2 females. Other than being "House Broken" from using the Bathroom indoors? There's a big difference from peeing and marking! He will be a more stable boy if you get him Neutered, not to mention all the health benefits and it's definitely an "Attitude" adjuster w/o all the Hormones ruling his behavior? No, it won't stop him from marking b/c an operation is not going to change what you have allowed him to do for 18 months in 1 day? You have to train him to "Stop"?

I think it's called "Napoleon Complex" a big Dog in a little body. There are more benefits to "Neutering" than not having it done. Good Luck |
