Well...i tried to see if I could get Bentley trained to the word "SIT" tonight with a few treats and even stopped using his treats and started doing it with his stuffed toys......

it worked!

but.....he wont respond to the word "SIT" when i dont have something in my hand, or i dont move my hand back behind his head.

How do i teach him to sit with nothing in my hand and just saying "SIT"?

The Mr. laughed at me because he thinks that Bentley wont retain anything at such a young age *4 months*. Is this true? I keep telling him that he'll get it. All of his grandfathers were champions - I keep using that as my excuse to try to train him early.
