Hi,

I recently purchased a yorkie puppy. She is about ten weeks old. I saw her parents who were very long haired and I know it takes about 6 months or so for a yorkie to develop the full coat. She does not have papers which is not a big deal to me but several people have told me she doesn't look like a yorkie. Her face almost looks like the face of a larger dog. Her ears are fully erect and from her neck down she looks like a yorkie. Her face doesn't have long hair. She has silky looking longer hair on top of her head, on the sides of her neck, and along her sides, chest, and bottom. The new hair growth from the root is lighter and the tips of the fur is black. She weighs 2.8 @8 weeks.
What do you think?
