Hi, thought I would introduce myself~ My daughter just got her very first dog and of course he's ( she picked out Charlie for his name ) is a sweet little Yorkie!
So glad to find this forum suggested by another forum I frequent because she has never had a dog and the last one I had ( a Boston Terrier) was over 30 years ago!
Charlie is only 3 months old and daughter hasn't a clue as to how to be consistent with toilet training. Silly girl went and got him too soon anyway, she's in the middle of moving and puts him in puppy daycare and thinks they should be doing all the training...
She wants him trained by July so he isn't peeing all over her new home but I am afraid once the move happens the training is going to have to start all over again.
One good thing is that I am moving into her basement suite to help her out and know that I am going to be the one re-training this little guy.

So I hope to learn a lot of things here and hope you all bear with me as I stumble-bum through this process!
