Okay, I went home for lunch and there is a bit of improvement with Pookie altho she is still whimpering. My hubby said she finally went pee and poo *whew*, and she did eat a few teaspoonfuls from the syringe of the baby-cereal/baby-meat mush I made for her before I left, plus, as I said, she is drinking water.
But tho she was excited to see me, she was shivering in my arms for the longest time. after I got home and my husband hadn't figured out that she had been cold

! He said she had gotten up off the down comforter we had on the couch that she was lying on and gone over to the other side of the couch and he thought she was too hot. So he took her off the couch and had put her on a towel on the floor, without remembering that she always goes over to the otherside of the couch I usually sit on

, whenever I get up and leave. So the whole time, (I don't know how long) she'd been freezing on her little towel on the floor, poor baby. As soon as I put her back on the down comforter, and covered her hindquarters up with the corner, she stopped shaking and drifted right off to sleep *sigh*. I guess you have to be a mother. He just doesn't get the whole mothering thing.
Anyway, it's two steps forward and one step back.
