It is dehydrated food...Here's a link to their FAQs...It sounds like a pretty great food! You guys should read it the FAQs.

WOW!!! I love the fact that they are in a HUMAN GRADE - FDA Facility.
Right now TJ and Roxy are eating Nature's Variety RAW Frozen - They LOVE it!!! They also eat about 5 pieces of Canidae a day. I just don't feel 100% comfortable with any kind of food produced in a Pet Plant. I am going to try this Honest Kitchen stuff! I'll let you know how it goes
