Sorry at the outset to those of you who were expecting a "real" Cap'n Hef adventure, but this is a cute story...

I "lost" my cell phone on Tuesday sometime! I searched and searched and searched because it is also my PDA and my "brain" so to speak with all my info which I have been "too busy" (YT) to download to my computer. So, basically I was lost without it!

I was harassing my entire family yesterday offering all kinds of incentives for anyone who could find it. I was making my youngest daughter look under the seats in all the cars and under all the beds. I accused my husband of acidentally throwing it out in the trash. I was going crazy! I know....how sad is that...?????

Anyway, Hefner kept enticing to go into my room and up on my bed all day! I would be in the kitchen or the familyroom or on the computer and he would get a toy and entice me to play and when I would get up he would run toward my room and stop and look back occasionally to see if I was following him. Well, I thought it was wierd, but I just thought he was being cute.

Well, finally this morning, after I finished typing my son's Romeo and Juliet essay at 1 am....I went and got Hefner who had fallen asleep with my youngest daughter. I carried him to my bedroom but even though he was half asleep he was squirming to get free so I set him on the edge of the bed and he went to the very edge, looked and started whining. I went to investigate and there, wedged between the mattress and the bed frame was MY Cell Phone!!!
