 Also Trying To Figure Out How This Works
Hello, I just got my puppy 3 days ago and I have not been successful in one attempt to have her use the puppy pad or the litter box. I figured I'd stick to only one, but this is my first puppy and well you can imagine how I felt at the pet store. I wanted everything. Anyways, I tried to clean the pee that she made on the floor with the puppy pad so that it absorbed the scent and that way she'd know to go there again next time. Well she didn't. I've been watching her like a hawk, so everytime she squats, I grab her and carry her to the pad. She won't go though. She'll just hold it. By the time I grab her, she still has tinkled a little. What can I do? Should I start focusing on using the litter box instead? |
