Finding the right mentor is very important . I worked 5 years with mine before she allowed me to co-own one of her Yorkies . I learned how to take care of the dogs , how to handle at shows , helping during whelping , how to plan dog shows . When I co-owned my first Yorkie , she let me take the dog to dogshows and when she saw that I was really a responsible co-owner , Laurene asked me if I was interested to own my show dogs . Now, we are best friends . I had to work very hard before I start my breeding program . |
