I know. It seems obvious, and anyone that truly cared about the baby would do just that. But everyone and their mother (literally ) has this whole thing tied up with subpoenas and appeals and every other legal maneuever they can.

What I don't understand is, Anna Nicole spent years battling for her late husband's money because he didn't have an iron clad will. She LIVED with a freaking attorney. Why were her children not protected with an explicit will? She of all people should have known the importance of one.
