So hes 4 months old, weve had him 1 week exactly. We have the pee pads set up, 4 of them together. Newspapers dont work cuz he eats them. He pees, we say no, take him to the pee pad. But seems he thinks its a soft place to play with his toys. He doesnt recognize his own smell even. Well put his pee on the pad, NOTHING...where he pees, well not wipe it up, he doesnt return to smell OR pee there again. VERY STRANGE. He can smell cuz he knows his food through wrappers.
We've bought that spray stuff for his pee pads...nothing again, the smell doesnt phase him. There arent even signs as to when he needs to go.
Anyone offer help please. Ive read the other threads created, and NONE seem to have anything helpful becasue he CANT SEEM TO SMELL HIS OWN SCENT SO FAR.

consistancy is my moto...you have to remember to take him to his potty pad...
1. first thing when he wakes up.
2. after eating and drinking
3. after playing
4. after naps
5. before he goes to bed
and overtime his body will be able to build up strength to hold it in longer...and naturally after some time he will know when he is allow to go and where he isn't.
Hope that help!
