Here's how we set up ours. We left the door to her crate open at night, and Chloe let herself out at night to pee/poop on the pad, then just went back in her crate to sleep. If we left and didn't take her with us, we used this set up. Gradually, when we would leave, we'd leave her in (with the crate door latched) for 1 hour, then 2 hours, etc. It really helped with housebreaking. |
