I was worried about that too. But the place where the nutro canned & packets are made are not the same place where the dry dog food is made. Our rescue feeds nutro to 75+ dogs and we've had zero problems. The day that the recall came out we contacted nutro and found out that the two differnt types of food aren't even produced in the same facility. I'm not saying don't switch bc you should always go with your gut. But I just wanted to put what info I learned out there.
Natural balance is a really good food too. I feed their meat rolls and the dry kibble mixed in w/ Harleys nutro. I bet your baby(ies) will love it! I buy mine from Petco
